The big 3
Elections are coming up over here in Pakistan, there appears to be some change this time. But I have not been able to understand which system reigns supreme here, democracy, dictatorship or monarchy.
I have mentioned these three forms of government for a reason, one way or another, all three of them had existed and flourished here. But nothing in it's purest of the pure form had ever existed, democracy doused in dictatorship, dictatorship seasoned with democracy and democracy colored by monarchy. There have been dictators, there have been politicians(who act as monarchs) and there have been bureaucrats, there always will be these three categories and but still I hope we can someday classify which form of governance is the truly rightful one.
The government has been divided between three key players, The Shareefs, The Bhutto clan and The Pakistan Army, as the ball spun from one's court to another each has been critical of the other but hiding their own faults.
Most of the population have been exposed to just one side of the story, which shines the light of glory on an individual who is shone to be the only hope of the people of Pakistan while the others are crushed under the claims of irregularities and fraud, while claims of bringing each corrupt leader to the court of accountability in the eyes of the public of Pakistan are promised by each contestant, they have yet to have been made a reality.

Food for thought, would you spend your finances on an inter city train service or would you prefer hospitals and health units well stocked with life saving medicines.
